#1 Radio and Video Charting Single "Somebody Loves Me" From Rebekah Speer Now Available On All Digital Platforms!
May 21, 2021--Rancho Mirage, Calif.--Turnberry Records and Management is proud to announce that Bluegrass and Americana performer Rebekah Speer has joined the expanding roster, and has released the lead single "Somebody Loves Me" to all digital and streaming platforms. “Somebody Loves Me” has already hit the #1 spot on both video and radio charts, and she expects no less from the yet-to-be-released album.
“I’m really excited to be signing with Turnberry Records,” said Speer. "The new album is going to be in the spirit and style of The Singing Speer Family. It’s Southern Gospel, with a definitive bluegrass twist, but still focuses on the convention style of the music that I love so much.”
This new project is a real departure from her past releases. Holding true to the original sound of the Singing Speer Family, of which Speer's late husband Ben Speer was a member. About Rebekah Speer:
A Georgia native, Speer has been in the music industry for over 20 years working with bluegrass and Country acts from many areas. Rebekah is the identical twin of Lizzy Long of the Little Roy Lewis and Lizzy Long Show, in which she spent her first few years playing bass. Speer also played bass for Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike before moving on to be the recording & mix engineer for Tom T. & Dixie Hall. After Dixie’s passing Rebekah moved onto work on music row in some of the most reputable recording studios, such as, The Tracking Room where she was the house engineer. Speer now heads up the recently established Get It Played delivery platform, designed to give affordable marketing alternatives to Bluegrass.
